Build a flexible solar and battery system with an 18kW Growatt hybrid inverter, 31.59kW of ZNShine solar panels and 43.02kWh of nominal GSL LiFePO4 battery storage. This ROCKSOLAR equipment package combines one SPH 18000TL-HU-US inverter, three floor-standing GSL batteries and 54 bifacial 585W solar modules for professionally designed home, farm and workshop energy systems.
Use solar power during the day, store energy for later use and plan backup power for selected circuits. Operating modes, available power and grid connection depend on the completed system design and equipment configuration.

Solar generation, battery storage and backup power
- 31.59kW solar array: Fifty-four 585W N-type TOPCon bifacial panels provide the rated front-side capacity. Rear-side production depends on mounting and reflected light and is not included in this rating.
- 18kW hybrid inverter: The Growatt SPH 18000TL-HU-US supports 120/240V split-phase applications, three independent MPPT trackers, compatible generator charging and Type II surge protection on AC and DC sides.
- 43.02kWh nominal storage: Three 51.2V, 280Ah GSL batteries provide lithium iron phosphate energy storage with independent battery management systems.
- Floor-standing battery design: The GBP2F battery uses an IP65 enclosure and is designated for ground/outdoor installation in its datasheet. Location, anchoring, environmental limits and electrical installation must follow the manufacturer requirements.
- Energy management flexibility: A suitable installation can support solar self-consumption, scheduled battery use and backup circuits. Generator integration and utility export require compatible equipment and project-specific configuration.

Plan your installation
Have your installer confirm the exact inverter-battery pairing, BMS communication, firmware, battery current settings, backup loads and applicable approvals before ordering. Voltage compatibility and shared communication ports alone do not establish an approved equipment combination.
Mounting and racking, battery interconnections, busbars, field wiring, electrical protection, rapid-shutdown equipment where required, permits, utility applications and installation services are outside the listed equipment package unless specifically included in your quotation. Confirm monitoring accessories and communication cables in the final scope.
The battery datasheet lists charging from 0 to 55 degrees C. The supplied UL 1973 certificate for GBP2F specifies ambient charging from 0 to 45 degrees C; use that narrower range until GSL confirms the applicable limit. IP65 does not establish cold-weather charging capability or a self-heating feature.

Is this an 18kW or 31.59kW solar system?
The inverter is rated for 18kW AC output. The 54 panels total 31.59kW DC at STC. The three batteries provide 43.02kWh of nominal energy. Solar power, inverter output and battery energy describe different parts of the system.
Which GSL battery is included?
This package uses three GSL051280A-B-GBP2F floor-standing batteries with IP65 enclosures. Each is rated 51.2V, 280Ah and 14.34kWh nominal in the supplied datasheet.
How much battery energy is available?
The datasheet publishes 11.47kWh discharge energy per battery at maximum 95% depth of discharge
Can the batteries supply 18kW continuously?
Yes.
Are the ZNShine 585W panels bifacial?
Yes. The ZXM7-UHLDD144 modules use N-type TOPCon half-cells and dual glass. Rear-side gain varies with installation and reflected light; it is excluded from the kit's 31.59kW front-side rating.
Is this a complete installed solar system?
This is an equipment package containing one inverter, three batteries and 54 panels. Mounting, electrical installation components, permits and installation require a project-specific quotation. Final design must account for local temperatures, array stringing, current limits and backup loads.
