What it is, and what it is for
ROCKSOLAR 2,000 W 24 V Pure Sine Wave Inverter
A 2,000 W inverter for a 24 V battery bank: for RV, boat or cabin applications within its power limits. Check appliance running power and startup surge before selecting loads, especially power tools, compressors and air conditioners. Battery current varies with battery voltage, load and inverter efficiency; size the battery bank and wiring for the manufacturer’s requirements.
Pure sine wave output at 120 V, 60 Hz with under 5 percent distortion, for compatible AC appliances. Pure sine wave output does not guarantee compatibility with every device; check each appliance manufacturer’s power requirements. A digital display on the front shows battery voltage, output and load, and an error code if it trips. Two 120 V outlets and a 2.1 A USB port on the front; the AC output voltage and frequency can be set from the menu.
Protection: low-battery alarm and shutdown (adjustable), high-battery shutdown, overload, output short circuit and over-temperature, with a thermostat-controlled fan. Continuous rating 2,000 W, 4,000 W surge for motor starts; the datasheet rates it at 1,500 W continuous for inductive loads such as a pump or compressor.
Ships with the inverter and the manual. Select battery cables, cable length and DC overcurrent protection according to the inverter manual, battery requirements and installation conditions; a single current or fuse recommendation does not suit every installation. A wired remote panel is available for mounting the switch and display in the living space. For a 12 V bank see the 2,000 W 12 V model. 1-year warranty. Wiring is for reference; a licensed electrician should make the connections on a permanent installation.
Every number, by component.
The figures the manufacturer publishes. The datasheet above is the reference if the two ever differ.
