Grid-Tie Solar System
Complete grid-tie solar kits from 3.8 kW to 11.4 kW: bifacial panels, a Growatt MIN grid-tie inverter, rapid shutdown, PV cable and DC protection, priced as one package. A grid-tie system sends solar power into the house and the surplus to the utility, cutting the bill while the grid is up; it has no battery and shuts down in an outage by design.

The kits are sized so the array is about 1.1 to 1.2 times the inverter rating, which is where a grid-tie inverter earns the most over a year. Choose by your annual consumption: as a rule of thumb, each kilowatt of panels yields around 1,200 to 1,600 kWh a year in most of the US, and the finder above will do that from your bill.
Mounting rails and racking are not included; they depend on your roof and are quoted with the kit. If you want the system to run during an outage, look at the hybrid systems, which add a battery and transfer switch.
