ROCKSOLAR 2,000 W 24 V Pure Sine Wave Inverter
A 2,000 W inverter for a 24 V battery bank: the size for an RV, boat or cabin running a microwave, coffee maker, power tools or a small air conditioner from a LiFePO4 bank. At full load it draws about 96 A from the battery, which is why 24 V is the better choice over 12 V at this power: half the current, thinner cable, less loss.
Pure sine wave output at 120 V, 60 Hz with under 5 percent distortion, which is the same quality as utility power, so microwaves, variable-speed tools, CPAP machines, TVs and laptop chargers run without buzzing or overheating. A digital display on the front shows battery voltage, output and load, and an error code if it trips. Two 120 V outlets and a 2.1 A USB port on the front; the AC output voltage and frequency can be set from the menu.
Protection: low-battery alarm and shutdown (adjustable), high-battery shutdown, overload, output short circuit and over-temperature, with a thermostat-controlled fan. Continuous rating 2,000 W, 4,000 W surge for motor starts; the datasheet rates it at 1,500 W continuous for inductive loads such as a pump or compressor.
Ships with the inverter and the manual. Add battery cable sized for 100 A over the run, a 150 A fuse or breaker on the positive lead, and keep the cable run under 6 ft.
