The existing system uses a 12V 200Ah LiFePO₄ battery and 2000W pure sine wave inverter designed to provide clean AC power for common off-grid loads.
Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/45
The upgraded Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 Solar Charge Controller uses ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking to maximize solar energy harvest, including during changing light and partial-shading conditions. Built-in Bluetooth allows easy setup, monitoring, and firmware updates from compatible devices.
For a 12V battery system, the MPPT 150/45 supports 45A charging and up to 650W nominal PV power, making it well suited to this 600W solar array.

Reliable Off-Grid Power for RVs & Cabins
With 600W of solar generation, LiFePO₄ battery storage, and a 2000W inverter, this RV solar kit can support common off-grid essentials such as lighting, laptops, phone chargers, TVs, small refrigerators, and other compatible appliances. Actual runtime depends on appliance load, battery state of charge, weather, and solar production.
The Victron controller also provides PV reverse-polarity, output short-circuit, and over-temperature protection for reliable solar charging.
