What it is, and what it is for
The ROCKSOLAR Solar Pump Remote Gateway pairs long-range wireless pump control with Bluetooth sensor connectivity for remote water supply, irrigation, and environmental monitoring.
One gateway connects to a tank water level sensor. A second gateway connects to the pump controller. The pump stops when the tank is full and starts when the level drops, helping maintain the water supply and prevent overflow. The gateway also reads compatible Bluetooth sensors for air temperature and humidity, rainfall, wind speed, soil moisture and more.
LoRa reaches over 3 km in clear line of sight; real-world coverage depends on terrain and obstacles. Extra gateways can relay the signal to extend range. Both LoRa peer-to-peer and LoRaWAN are supported.
Features
- Automatic pump control – start and stop the pump based on tank water level
- Bluetooth sensor support – temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, soil moisture and more
- Long-range communication – over 3 km line of sight
- LoRa peer-to-peer and relay – direct gateway-to-gateway links, up to 10 relays
- LoRaWAN 1.0.2B support – integrate into an existing LoRaWAN network
- Solar-powered operation - integrated 3 W panel and rechargeable battery for remote installations
- IP66 enclosure – dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets
- Wide operating range – −20°C to +65°C

Applications
Smart irrigation – automatic pump start/stop keeps a stable water supply for farms and orchards.
Environmental monitoring – collect temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind and soil moisture data remotely over LoRaWAN.
Plan your installation
Automatic tank-level control uses two gateways: one at the tank with a compatible water level or float sensor, and one at the pump with a compatible pump controller. Additional gateways can relay the wireless signal where needed. Environmental monitoring requires compatible Bluetooth sensors; LoRaWAN reporting requires a compatible LoRaWAN network.
Confirm pump-controller compatibility, sensor requirements, regional radio frequency and the number of gateways needed before ordering. The datasheet does not specify a complete kit or package contents; a second gateway, sensors and pump controller are not represented as included.
Model references
The datasheet lists part number 100-02049 (FCC) and 100-02046 (CE) for the 5,300 mAh gateway with built-in antenna, solar power and Bluetooth 5.0. Confirm the supplied model with ROCKSOLAR before ordering.
